In Home Care we all wear a lot of hats, and Mark wears some big ones!
Mark is our Director of Scheduling/Client Experience manager. In this role he is the master matchmaker for our Clients and Caregivers. He keeps the clients schedules filled and works to ensure the relationship between them and their caregiver is spot on!
Mark was born and bred in the Chicago area and is an NIU Husky alum! After working as a graphic designer and managing a hand painted sign business for decades, he joined his wife, Alison in the Home Care business in 2021.
Mark’s quick wit, strong family values, and natural love of all people make him a favorite with both clients and caregivers.
Mark’s interest in Home Care began in 2015 when he and Alison began exploring the possibilities of working in this industry. One of their many inspirations was Mark’s dad, Gordy. Gordy died in 2017 after battling Alzheimer’s disease. Gordy had moved to Florida for the last many years of his life. Mark’s experience with his dad’s Alzheimer’s and efforts to support his dad from long distance, give him a special heart for the plight of the families Assisting Hands serves.
